52nd International International Meteorological Organization (IMO) Prize
Professor J. Shukla has been awarded the 52nd International International Meteorological Organization (IMO) Prize by the World Meteorological Organization.
The IMO prize is awarded annually for outstanding work in the field of meteorology, and is considered the highest international award in our field. Previous winners have included C. J. Rossby, J. Bjerknes, J. G. Charney, J. Smagorinsky, W. E. Suomi, E. N. Lorenz and L. Bengtsson (to name just a few).
